The original drape holder from which this corbel was modeled was located in the historic Lob Steer Inn in Southern Pines, North Carolina. Before the restaurant was razed, local retailer Windridge Gardens obtained the piece and recently presented it to Unique Stone to be cast as a shelf. We still haven’t figured out exactly what the face represents—a lion, a steer, a gargoyle?—but we love it nonetheless.
